A wedding forced a number of changes to the Ramsey squad and this was reflected in the scoreline with the Manx side crashing to a 116-0 defeat away at Bury in Counties 3 ADM Lancs/Cheshire. A tough looking Bury outfit ran in tries steadily from start to finish and Ramsey had no answer. They now have a two week break before travelling to Clitheroe on 4 October.
On the plus side, the first XV welcomed debuts for Garion Daniel and Fynn Bradley who are both graduates from the Ramsey Junior academy and Fflinlo Corkill (another graduate) made his first start in red and black.
