Promotion chasing Orrell banked five points against Ramsey with a 73-12 win in Counties 3 ADM Lancs/Cheshire.
Ramsey struggled to run the travel out of their legs in the first half and trailed 47-0 at the break. John Joe Riley ran in two for Orrell with supporting scores from Adam Hunt, Daryl Sheridan, Lewis Gibbons, Denny Solomona and Matt Johnson. Craig Thomas and Terry Leaford kicked five conversions between them.
After the break Adam Dunlop pulled once back for Ramsey but Riley completed his hat trick at the other end, Hunt and Solomona both bagged their second scores of the game with Thomas adding three more conversions. Ramsey did pick up their second try by way of consolation with prop Matt Livesey doing the honours and Dan Kelly converting.
