Douglas South put in an accomplished first half performance to keep their hopes alive in the Manx Trophy with a 33-12 defeat of Ramsey at Port-e-Chee. Douglas led 33-0 at half time with another polished display from hooker Joe Corkish who bagged two tries. There were also scores from Harry Corrin, Sam McCord and Joshua Duncan, with young stand off Jack Shimmin adding four conversions. Ramsey struck back in the second half with tries from Peter Frankwick and Brandon Atchison plus a Dan Richmond conversion, but couldn’t overhaul the first half deficit.
